Detail from the black film of 2000AD Prog #416. There are two characters on this cover; Strontium Dog and Judge Anderson, but the cover is only credited to Carlos Ezquerra online. This looks like a Brendan McCarthy or Brett Ewins to me.
Yeah, I guess the lines are blurred a bit during this period, with Ewins / McCarthy collaborations like Wally Squad - the main thing is it's a lovely bit of work...
