Last night, Michelle and I were invited along to see the finalists at the Motion Photography exhibition. It was a well attended and interesting event, with plenty of food and champagne to add to the occasion. Below is the official info about the Motion Photography Prize and you can find the moving images on this link.
With the ubiquity of smartphones and rise in photo-sharing services, the world has recently exploded with photographers from all backgrounds who are embracing new technology to tell their stories in innovative ways, not least of all via motion photography.
In recognition of the exciting potential of this new technology, Saatchi Art, the Saatchi Gallery and Google+ have awarded the inaugural Motion Photography Prize, with photographers from all over the world celebrating this new creative art form.
So there you have it! I wish I'd had the time to make one myself now. Incidentally, that's the back of Steven Berkoff's head - and below, Michelle sizes up one of the sculptures with her iPad in the adjacent gallery.

According to Dave McNary at Variety, Universal is planning a movie version of tv's Battlestar Galactica, and aim to develop the film as a complete re-imagining of the story. Strangely enough, I'd just been contemplating watching the tv series all over again.
Australia's Black Milk clothing label for women, recently launched their superhero-themed clothing range with its Batman collection, featuring t-shirts, leggings, dresses and swimsuits.
As part of a further collaboration with DC Comics, they've now added the Superman and Wonder Woman Cape Suits to their range with a detachable cape. The collection is of course called 'Heroes' and you can check it out right here.
